NGOs warn paper buyers to stay away from Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) products!

A group of 41 environmental NGOs from across Europe issued a letter to paper retailersd and commercial paper buyers to warn them about the environmentally and socially irresponsible paper producer APP. The company is estimated to have pulped more than 1 million hectares of natural forests in Sumatra so far and is now extending its operations to the last remaining natural forests in Kalimantan and Papua.
